Overdose deaths here in Franklin County have returned to where they were before the COVID-19 pandemic. They hit a five-year low here and across the country.

But even though the overall numbers are dropping, deaths continue to rise among Black and Hispanic residents of Franklin County.

We’re learning how local experts interpret the numbers, why having your very own digital twin might be the future of medicine and some millennials are experiencing the first symptoms of the menopausal transition.
