Schools are grappling with how to handle the use of chatbots in the classroom.

Some districts are banning the use of AI entirely, concerned about plagiarism and academic misconduct, while others are embracing it.

In Newark, N.J., for example, teachers are trying out new AI-assisted tutoring bots in a national test-drive of the technology.

Educators in Ohio are attending training sessions to learn how to help students use artificial intelligence in a constructive way.
