Environmental Social Governance (ESG) investment strategies have been commonplace for the last few decades. Investors use them to help decide what companies to invest in, aside from pure profit motive.
Recently, ESG has come under scrutiny, with many on the right claiming that it is “woke investing" that is hurting American portfolios.
