Online dating has been around for decades with the big growth among users of dating apps.
They are used almost everywhere, in every region of the country and among most socio-economic and demographic groups.
The Pew Research Center in a new study found some three in 10 American adults have used a dating app or website, and that more than half of adults under the age of 30 are hoping to make a match that way.
