FTC proposes rule that would ban noncompete clauses in employee contracts

This program originally aired on January 24, 2023.

The FTC is proposing a rule to ban the use of non-compete clauses in employment contracts nationwide. These clauses are applied to workers in all fields and play a major role in current employment law.

We’ll discuss what this proposal could mean for the future of employment in the U.S.
