We're looking back at what happened in 2022 at the Franklin County Metro Parks and what's in store for 2023.
Millions of people flocked to Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks to escape the indoors during COVID. While 2022 saw a drop in visitors from the pandemic peak, it was still above 2019 levels, a sign that more central Ohio residents are aware of the great parks in our own backyard.
Among the many plans for Franklin County Metro Parks are spending $1 million each on a pair of new parks set to open in the coming years.
