President Joe Biden speaks about the student debt relief portal beta test as Education Secretary Miguel Cardona listens in the South Court Auditorium on the White House complex in Washington, Monday, Oct. 17, 2022.

Since President Biden’s student debt forgiveness plan was first announced, a number of lawsuits have been filed in attempts to stop it.

Some of these attempts could even be considered next month by the Supreme Court.

We will look at the current state of student loan forgiveness with our guests, Washington Post reporter Danielle Douglas-Gabriel, who covers national higher education issues and Winston Berkman-Breen, Deputy Director of Advocacy & Policy Counsel for the Student Borrower Protection Center.
