Ahead of NASA’s Artemis I flight test, the fully stacked and integrated SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft debuts, March 17, 2022.

Thousands traveled to the Kennedy Space Center on Florida’s Atlantic coast yesterday to watch the launch of Artemis 1.

They were disappointed when an engine problem forced NASA to scrub the morning debut of the Space Launch System, new rocket decades and billions of dollars in the making.

It’s the program designed to return humans to the surface of the moon for the first time since Apollo 17 in 1972.

Friday is the next earliest launch opportunity, but nothing is certain yet.

That and more on Tech Tuesday.

Guests:

  • Christopher Preston, professor of environmental ethics at the University of Montana in Missoula
  • David W. Brown, Freelance writer and author of The Mission
  • Russell Holly, Managing Editor for Commerce at CNET
