Tech Tuesday: The semiconductor industry in Central Ohio

The global shortage of semiconductors is forcing General Motors to further cut production at six North American factories as chip supplies seem to be growing tighter.

After more than a year of back and forth the House and Senate have now passed the $280 billion CHIPS and Science Act which contains $52 billion in federal subsidies for the semiconductor industry.

Today on Tech Tuesday we are looking at what this means for central Ohio.
