The decline in U.S. Army recruitment

The Army won’t make its goal for recruits this year. The service faces its worst recruiting environment since the creation of the all-volunteer force in 1973.

A number of factors, including COVID-19, have plagued recruiting efforts. We’ll look at what this means for America and what’s being done to attract new recruits.
