Last week, the Supreme Court temporarily blocked a Texas law from taking effect that intended to punish online platforms for removing political speech. Florida passed a similar law in 2021 that has also been stopped by the courts.
Republican-led states across the country want to stop platforms from moderating certain types of speech. Today on Tech Tuesday we are taking a look at why.
