What does citing gun violence as a public health crisis mean? Can it be a successful means of reducing gun violence?

2021 was the second-consecutive record year for homicides in Columbus. Mayor Andrew Ginther and other city leaders are declaring gun violence a public health crisis. We’ll discuss what it means to address gun violence as a public health crisis and what, if anything, can be done to combat it.
