The Federal Government's Response To The COVID-19 Omicron Surge

As we enter into the holidays, COVID-19 infection rates and hospitalizations are on the rise. The increase caused by both the delta and omicron variants has health officials concerned.

While scientists are still working to understand the threat omicron may pose, studies show boosters offer enhanced protection against the variant. However only 30% of Americans have received boosters while 40% remain unvaccinated.

After President Biden’s latest update on the White House’s plans to distribute free at-home-rapid tests we’ll get the latest updates in the ongoing struggle to deal with the virus and its variants.
