Columbus City Schools Board of Education

Two members of Ohio's State Board of Education - former Board President Laura Kohler, a New Albany Republican, and Eric Poklar, of Worthington - resigned last week after the Ohio Senate declined to confirm their appointments.

They were the only members of the 19-seat board to oppose the repeal of a controversial 2020 anti-racism resolution.

Plus, the Ohio Redistricting Commission has missed the deadline to approve maps for the state’s congressional districts, handing the job back to the GOP-controlled Legislature. Listen for all that and more today on All Sides with Ann Fisher’s weekly Reporter Roundtable.

Guests:

  • Jeremy Pelzer, Reporter, cleveland.com
  • Jo Ingles, Reporter, Ohio Public Radio Statehouse News Bureau
  • Darrel Rowland, Senior Editor, Columbus Dispatch
