Economists are keeping a worried eye on inflation as consumer prices continue to climb. Some have begun muttering the word “stagflation,” a coined word combining stagnation and inflation.

Wages may be up, but so too are the costs for goods, services and food. Getting by, which is challenging enough for millions during a pandemic, may soon get harder.
