While movies depict Greek Life on college campuses as a raucous celebration of beers and babes the reality sometimes stands in stark contrast.

Sexual assaults and hazing deaths are harsh realities that have students at major universities demanding stronger oversight, and in some cases, abolishing fraternities and sororities.

We’ll look at how colleges and universities address the issues surrounding Greek life on campus.

Guests:

  • John Hechinger, senior editor at Bloomberg News and author of the 2017 book True Gentlemen: the Broken Pledge of America’s Fraternities
  • Judson Horras, (ZOOM) president and chief executive of the North American Interfraternity Conference
  • Kathleen Wiant, mother of Collin Wiant, advocate for Collin’s Law
  • Dave Kerschner, Post-Doctoral Fellow for Research and Evaluation for StopHazing, a research organization working to illuminate the nature and extent of hazing and inform effective hazing prevention.
