Wellness Wednesday: Social Media’s Impact On Teen Mental Health

Instagram announced last week that it would pause development of an app intended for children after internal company documents showed the popular social media platform is harmful to teens’ well-being.

The revelations, leaked by a former company employee, come on the heels of ongoing congressional scrutiny of Facebook and pushback from parents worried about Instagram use by younger children.
