Gov. Mike DeWine on Friday indicated he wouldn’t sign any bill that bans transgender girls and women from competing in female sports, saying it’s not a matter for government to decide.
His comments came hours after Ohio House Republicans passed a ban, prompting House Democrats to yell and pound desks while outside the Statehouse transgender rights advocates protested.
