Anti-Protest Laws

When former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin killed George Floyd last year, Americans took to the streets to demand change in protests that were overwhelmingly peaceful.

Still, Republican-controlled legislatures in 35 states have introduced bills that could restrict the ability of citizens to protest.
