Technology plays an integral role in how we vote, how votes are counted, and the overall security of free and fair elections.

In 2016, that process was tested as never before. Russia led the list of foreign countries seeking to influence and disrupt the U.S. election.

As Election Day unfolds today, election experts say fear not. Lessons learned from the 2016 presidential election have led to more and better guardrails.
