This episode originally aired on Aug. 17, 2020.

Educators have found a creative outlet to help students express their feelings about the life-altering pandemic: The six-word memoir.

It’s the most popular download from creator Larry Smith’s website. One student wrote, "My life is one big screen now." Another shared, "Virtual hugs are not the same."

But educators aren’t the only ones using it.

Today on All Sides: Larry Smith and listeners share their six-word memoirs about the pandemic.
