Today is the day Ohio hospitals can resume nonessential medical procedures that don’t require an overnight hospital stay, which were postponed last month as part of the state’s pandemic response.

The Ohio Hospital Association estimates hospitals lose $1.2 billion every month that elective procedures are canceled.
