Three inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution Elkton near Youngstown have died from COVID-19.

The nation’s overcrowded prisons and jails have become hotbeds of coronavirus deaths and infections.

In Ohio, a prison guard and three federal prisoners have died and the number of those infected grows by the day. Prison reform advocates demand urgent action.
