Lawmakers early this morning reached an agreement on a bipartisan, $2 trillion economic relief package intended to keep the nation from falling into recession because of the Covid-19 outbreak.
The plan includes billions of dollars for individuals and businesses affected by the slowing economy.
The news of an impending agreement sent the stock market soaring on Tuesday, for its best day since 1933, after one of the worst downward streaks in history.
