The Art of Editorial Cartooning
The Association of American Editorial Cartoonists is hosting its annual convention in Columbus this week with editorial cartoonists from across the country making the trip.
Editorial cartoons have long played a vital role in public discourse since the beginning of the Republic, pushing the limits of free speech and often inviting lawsuits for libel.
Today on All Sides, we discuss the art of editorial humor in the age of Trump and during the current decline of print news media.
EVENT: The Association of American Editorial Cartoonists Cartoon will be part of the Crossroads Columbus festival through this weekend. The festival is free and open to the public. Visit the link on our website at wosu.org/allsides for more information.
