Columbus Ticket Taxes Take Effect
The new ticket tax in Columbus went into effect this week.
The 5% tax will apply to some sporting events and arts venues, and is expected to raise some $6 million a year for the Greater Columbus Arts Council to funds arts in the city.
But the tax is not without its challengers. A petition is circulating to remove the tax via ballot issue and would also prevent any similar tax in the future.
Today on All Sides, the ticket tax and what to expect moving forward.
