Jewish American journalist Jonathan Weisman kept a fairly low profile most of his professional life. He was aware of the presence of anti-semitism in America but wasn't particularly affected by it. These experiences pushed him to write a book documenting the rise of anti-semitism since President Trump began his presidential campaign.
