A recent study from the Pew Research Center found that roughly one-in-five Americans have experienced severe forms of online harassment ranging from physical threats to sexual harassment to stalking. Online harassment not only impacts its victims, but it also indirectly affects the behavior of online users who have witnessed others being harassed online.
