For over 30 years Fred Roger’s catchy songs and gentle voice played in the homes of so many viewers. His show taught messages of patience and tolerance, but perhaps in his own way, he was also a radical.

This hour, we’ll talk to Michael G. Long author of the book “Peaceful Neighbor: Discovering the Countercultural Mister Rogers” and look at the countercultural contributions made by the iconic television figure.
