James White Sr. spoke at TEDx Columbus last year.

TED is a non-profit organization devoted to ideas worth spreading from some of the world's brightest minds, from professors to CEOs to entrepreneurs. TEDxColumbus is one of the first off-shoots of the concept and has grown each year since it began seven years ago. This hour we're talking about this year's TEDxColumbus event on disruption and what goes in to planning a TEDx event.

Guests:

  • Ruth Milligan, Organizer of TEDxColumbus
  • Shawn Springs, Co-Founder and CEO of Windpact Inc. and Former NFL and OSU Football Player
  • Richard Guerrieri, Identity Management Forensic DNA Research Leader at Battelle

Event: TEDxColumbus is tackling disruption this year. For its seventh annual event on November 20 (noon-6pm) at the Capitol Theatre at the Riffe Center, 16 speakers and performers will be invited to share their thoughts on disruption.

This show originally aired on November 19, 2015 at 11 a.m.
