Every time this officer did something that was outrageous, I begged the mayor to terminate him.”

Residents packed the Cleveland Heights Community Center to hear arguments for and against a new levy to support the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District. The 7.9 mill levy, which appears on the March 17 primary ballot, would raise more than $8 million in new revenue for the school district and add roughly $275 in property taxes per year for every $100,000 of a home’s value. All three patients are from Cuyahoga County and in their mid-50s. He declared a state of emergency, which he said will help the state procure medical supplies. Just as the governor made the announcement from Columbus, Cleveland and Cuyahoga County officials were about to start a news conference. The event was delayed about 30 minutes as officials had to regroup in light of the news.
