That's about one out of 20 city residents, all waiting to get apartments at places like Woodhill Homes. And the number doesn't include the Housing Choice Voucher program, formerly Section 8, where people get a subsidy to rent an apartment on the private market. Medicaid Recipients Say Ohio Benefit System Needs Work
Ohio's Medicaid program, which provides health insurance for more than 2.8 million low-income residents, doesn’t work for everyone, according to a recent survey. Akron-Summit Public Library Announces Plan For Slow Reopening
The Akron-Summit Public Library will reopen in phases after weeks of COVID-19 concern-driven closure. Most staff will return to buildings to prepare for service June 8, and patrons can start returning items June 15, library administrators announced Tuesday. Temperature checks will be required for staff before each shift and face coverings inside library buildings will be mandatory for library workers.
