Abortion Providers In Utah Adapt To New Anesthesia Requirement
In Utah, a doctor performing an abortion will soon have to administer anesthesia after 20 weeks of pregnancy. The new law is the first of its kind in the nation, and it's based on the controversial notion that a fetus at that stage in development may feel pain during the procedure. Abortion providers are adapting to this change in the law.

Postcards From The Pandemic: Interning On The Cuyahoga And All That Jazz
University of Chicago sophomore Natasha Rodgers is having an unusual summer internship with the Bop Stop on Cleveland’s Near West Side. The music venue closed in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic. “When we talked over the phone during the interview, he told me up front, you know, ‘We’re closed right now. I’m not sure when we’re able to reopen,’” said Rodgers. “So I knew not to expect too much, but it looks like I’ll still be able to help out with some events.”

For the past 58 years, Sr. Mary Jean Raymond has been a member of the Ursuline community in Cleveland. She ministers at St. Aloysius church in Cleveland's Glenville neighborhood. The church has resumed in-person services with congregants spread out and wearing masks. The desire for contact and connection has been strong among the community members, including the youngest among them.

Cleveland Hospitals Say Rise In Health Workers With COVID Could Impact Care
Updated 4:20 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2020 As the number of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations continue to climb in Ohio, Cleveland-area hospital leaders are concerned about the growing number of health care workers who are out sick with the coronavirus. According to hospital officials, about 800 Cleveland Clinic employees, 200 at University Hospitals, and 60 MetroHealth staffers are out, making it more difficult to care for the rising number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in Cuyahoga County.
