Providing patrons access to that digital collection has proved invaluable in allowing libraries to “remain open,” even if their doors are physically closed.

Jessie Bennett, owner of Cleveland Hardwood Restoration, had just hired two additional full-time staff for her flooring business when the coronavirus crisis hit. They and one other staff member have since been laid off — temporarily, Bennett hopes — due to a large number of jobs being postponed. She's now operating a company that's about half the size it was less than a month ago.

Local Universities Look Beyond Spring Semester For Coronavirus Response
Virtually all higher education classes in Northeast Ohio are being taught remotely through the end of the spring 2020 semester to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. But with Gov. One Homo erectus female cranium found is a little less than half the size of our brains, said CWRU anatomy professor Scott Simpson, who worked with the team that discovered the fossils.

The Comeback Of One Of Cleveland's Oldest Cemeteries
Woodland Cemetery is one of Cleveland’s oldest, but it’s located in a neighborhood that doesn’t get a lot of love. After years of neglect, the front door of this 167-year-old site is getting a facelift. Surrounded by housing projects and battered real estate along Woodland Avenue on the East Side of town, Woodland Cemetery is the final resting place for a cross-section of Clevelanders, from the city's richest families to some unknown indigents.
