Mass. Legislators Debate Gay Marriage, Union
Massachusetts lawmakers discuss for a second day the wording of a constitutional amendment that would ban gay marriage but legalize civil unions. The floor debate has been marked by passionate and emotional speeches. Bomb Kills at Least 50 at Iraqi Police Station
A truck bomb kills more than 50 people at a police station south of Baghdad Tuesday, wounding at least 75 others. The blast struck as civilians lined up at the building to apply for jobs. No American deaths have been reported. Hear NPR's Melissa Block and James Hider of The Times of London.

Tenet: CIA Never Claimed Imminent Threat
Defending pre-war intelligence on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, CIA director George Tenet says his analysts "never said there was an imminent threat." Tenet says intelligence analysts came to different conclusions on the state of Iraq's weapons programs -- and made those differences clear to the Bush administration. Hear NPR's Vicky O'Hara.

Guantanamo 'Enemy Combatants' to Get Hearings
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld says accused enemy combatants being held at the U.S. military base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, will have their cases reviewed once a year by a new special panel. Rumsfeld also indicates some of the prisoners could be held indefinitely, or until the United States determines they no longer pose a threat. NPR's Vicky O'Hara reports.

Consumer advocate Ralph Nader's decision to run as an independent presidential candidate stirs consternation among Democrats hoping to unseat President Bush in November. Bremer: Iraq Power Transfer Could Take 15 Months
The U.S. administrator for Iraq says it could take up to 15 months for a full transfer of power to an Iraqi goverment. Reports: Dean to Suspend Presidential Bid
Reports suggest former Vermont governor Howard Dean will suspend his campaign for president Wednesday. Dean was once the perceived frontrunner for the Democratic nomination, but he's failed to win any of the 17 primaries and contests held so far. Iraqi Council Shifts Stance on Power Transfer
Iraq's governing council debates issues surrounding the handover of power from U.S. forces to Iraqis, scheduled to take place by July 1. Prominent members of the council now oppose the U.S. plan to create an interim administration through caucuses. Instead, many want the council to retain sovereignty until elections can be held. President Bush is expected to name a nine-member commission Friday charged with comparing the pre-war intelligence on Iraq with information learned since. On Thursday, CIA director George Tenet vigorously defended his agency's work, hours before a Senate panel began reviewing a draft report of its own probe into Iraq intelligence. Kay Testimony Shakes Up Iraq Story
This past week, former U.S. weapons investigator David Kay told the Senate Armed Services Committee that Iraq did not possess weapons of mass destruction before last year's war.
