Kelly Dillon, Chelsea Alkire and Camile Peterson won a contentious election for three seats on the South Western City Schools' Board of Education.

That’s according to unofficial results from the Franklin County Board of Elections.

The two groups of candidates ran as slates. Boso, Gocha and Feucht gained the backing of state and local Republicans, while Alkire, Dillon and Peterson won the support of local Democrats.

Boso is the current school board president. Peterson was the only other incumbent in the race.

The school district is mostly within Franklin County, covering Grove City, Galloway and some outlying areas of southwest Columbus. A small part of the district bleeds into Pickaway County near the village of Harrisburg.

The race for the seat attracted attention after the joint Facebook page for Boso, Gocha and Feucht created an AI generated video of their opponents expressing false opinions and calling their supporters “crazy libs.”

The district has an estimated 21,000 students, making it the fifth-largest district in the state.
