Katie Main joins WOSU Public Media with more than 15 years of experience in fundraising and marketing, bringing a strong record of building meaningful donor relationships and advancing philanthropic growth. Her background spans membership, events, stewardship, major gifts, corporate partnerships and foundation support.

Katie joined The Ohio State University in 2024 as part of the Medical Advancement team, where she cultivated major gifts and strengthened relationships with grateful patients. Through close collaboration and clear communication, she partnered with clinical and administrative teams to build trust, momentum, and mission‑aligned support.

Prior to Ohio State, Katie spent four years at WYSO Public Radio in Yellow Springs, Ohio where she expanded corporate support, grew the major giving program and developed a communications strategy that elevated the station’s visibility and impact. Her leadership contributed to significant revenue growth and deeper community engagement.
