Amy Palermo

As the Chief Content Director of Education for WOSU Public Media, Amy Palermo leads the team responsible for development and delivery of professional learning to the public and private schools in WOSU's twenty-one county service area.

Amy began her educational career in Texas, where she perfected the poetic application of "y'all" and developed a love of sweet tea. She was Middle School Language Arts teacher, yearbook advisor, and Elementary School Curriculum Integration Specialist.

She received a Masters in Instructional Technology from The Ohio State University.

Her passion for educational technology began when she saw firsthand the impact technology has on students with special needs, and her experiences have fueled her commitment to help other educators implement teaching practices that change the landscape of the classroom and empower each child to become a successful learner.
