Exploring Vintage Films from Columbus City Schools

Aaron O'Donovan from the Columbus Metropolitan Library shares a film taken at the Fair Avenue and 5th Avenue schools in 1969, which was filmed before the desegregation of the Columbus City School system.

The film is only one of over 20,000 photos, documents, maps, and videos in the library’s vast collection.
