Hilliard City Schools' 2026 graduates got some love from pop superstar Bruno Mars.

Students at Hilliard Darby High School, led by Senior Class President Alex Eldridge, posted TikTok videos for more than 120 days asking the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter to visit the school after Mars announced his concert in Columbus, which is scheduled on the same day as the school's graduation.

Ultimately, Hilliard moved its graduation up one day to Tuesday. Mars did not make an appearance, but he sent the graduating students a complimentary ice cream truck.

The truck, from locally-owned Little Ladies Soft Serve, was wrapped in Bruno Mars decals and served up complementary ice cream sundaes.

Mars' tour manager sent a statement congratulating the graduates and applauding Eldridge for his work in getting Mars' attention.

Mars' "The Romantic Tour" concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ohio Stadium.
