Grove City police arrested a Westerville man who allegedly assaulted a security officer at Mount Carmel's Grove City hospital late Wednesday.
The man, who police identified as Zachary Mair, 31, of Westerville, allegedly grabbed the security officer's gun during the assault and pulled the trigger.
Police say the gun remained holstered, but Mair was able to fire the weapon. A bullet hit a wall. No one was hurt.
Mair has been charged with aggravated robbery, felonious assault and firing a gun at a habitation.
