The Franklin County Coroner's Office has identified the child who died after a dog attack Wednesday morning as 7-month-old Elizah Turner.

A woman brought the infant to a Parsons Avenue fire station in south Columbus just before 11 a.m.

The woman said the infant was attacked by a dog.

The child was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital where she died around 11:45 a.m.

No charges have been filed in the child's death.

The Franklin County Prosecutor's Office says the case is under review.
