Columbus police say a suspect is in custody after a deadly shooting Friday morning near the Ohio State campus.
The shooting happened on North High Street near 12th Avenue around 2:45 a.m.
North High Street was blocked after the shooting, which police say left a 25-year-old man dead and another man hurt. OSU students and staff received a safety alert minutes later telling them to "remain inside and avoid the area."
Police arrested 26-year-old Raymond Ladd on a charge of murder. Officials are looking for information about a second person believed to be connected to the incident.
