An autopsy report from the Franklin County Coroner's Office shows that a well-known Imam and pillar of central Ohio's Muslim and Somali communities was shot multiple times.

Imam Mohamed Hassan Adam, 48, was found dead on December 24 inside a van off Joyce and Windsor avenues. He was last seen on December 22.

The autopsy report, released Wednesday, showed Adam was shot at least four times.

Adam was a longtime Imam at the Masjid Abu Hurairah mosque on the Northeast Side.

Columbus Police have released a video, dated December 22, that shows a man driving the van in which Adam’s body was discovered.

Investigators said the driver of the van appeared to be wearing a red bandana and latex gloves.

The Ohio chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Central Ohio Crime Stoppers are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the investigation.
