Upper Arlington police continue investigating the weekend shooting that sent shots into the home of a high-ranking state health department official.

There's no evidence suggesting the shooting into the home of assistant medical director Dr. Mary Kate Francis is related to her role with the state or its coronavirus policy. No one was injured and no arrests were reported.

Police said the shots were reported around 8 p.m. Saturday. They say the investigation continues and asked anyone with information to come forward.

Ohio Department of Health press secretary Melanie Amato confirmed Sunday that the home is owned by Francis, but declined further comment.
