Columbus Police say a 13-year-old boy was shot several times on the city’s east side yesterday.
The shooting happened around 5:30 pm on Cushing Drive just off East Livingston Avenue. Police say the victim said he was standing outside a home when an unknown assailant began shooting.
Police say the boy was shot multiple times in the midsection, underwent surgery, and is expected to survive.
No arrests were immediately reported.
