A Licking County theater says it turned away film maker Michael Moore from performing a one-man show about the presidential race.
The maker of controversial films like Bowling for Columbine wrote on Facebook that he was banned from performing an October 7 show at the Midland Theater.
Midland operators say Moore wasn't banned and not finalizing the contract was based on several factors, including the potential for disruptive events inside or outside the theater.
Moore says he will go ahead with his plans for the show at an undisclosed site in southern Ohio in October.
