A new poll shows Republican Rob Portman with an 11 point lead over Democrat Ted Strickland in the Ohio Senate race.
The new poll from Quinnipiac University says Strickland is not getting the support from women that Democrats usually enjoy with that vote nearly split between Strickland and Portman.
The poll, released today, puts Portman the incumbent Republican ahead of Ohio's former Democratic Governor Ted Strickland, 51 to 40 percent.
