Drugs, Guns, Cash Confiscated in Northwest Side Bust

Franklin County Sheriff's officials conficated drugs with a street value of $27,000.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s office says it made a major heroin bust on the city’s northwest side Tuesday. 

The Sheriff’s office says it arrested 26-year old Christopher Slone and 27-year old Nona Mathews of Stinson Court after a three month investigation.

Slone and Mathews are each charged with possessing heroin and cocaine. Officials also found weapons and more than $100,000 in cash on the property. The Sheriff’s office says the drugs had a street value of about $27,000.

“The arrests made yesterday,” said Franklin County Sheriff Zack Scott, “are another step forward of cleaning up our streets.”
