Two people were wounded after shots were fired at a home invasion near Ohio State's campus. The suspect in the shooting is still at-large.
The two shooting victims have been transported to Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center, and are in critical condition, Columbus Police told WOSU News.
The shooting occurred just after 1 p.m. on 70 W Northwood during a home invasion. The suspect fled on foot, is armed and still at-large.
Ohio State University had issued a 'shelter-in-place' to the Ohio State community until 2:15 p.m. Upon lifting the 'shelter-in-place' and alert text sent to the Ohio State community warned students to remain cautious.
The alert stated that police are on scene, and that the suspect is a black male, about 6 feet tall, with dreads and glasses. Police say he is armed.
